    RH7.3 boot splash screen

Is there a way to change the crappy looking boot splash screen, i am using lilo not grub.

In Mandrake there was a dir /usr/share/bootsplash where you could change the jpg image for the boot splash screen, but cannot find anything like that in RH7.3.
    cheers

is this the image at lilo? or when the computer is booting up?
I don't think you can change it when its booting up,unless you download the aurora source from mandrake and edit it to run on a redhat box.
    Otherwise, for lilo, try

O.K. got a new bootsplash screen, It was quite simple really, The pic had to be 320x200 in pcx format and using indexed colours not rgb, then i just copied the pic to /boot/message (after backing-up the original) then re-ran /sbin/lilo.

Now i have to find a way of ant-aliasing the font in lilo's menu.

    Cheers
