    Samba Config

;D Thanks for your help, I just have one more question. In the samba config, how do I make it so users logging in can't change, rename or delete files or subdirectories? I have two shares on a Win 2k network and I don't want my brothers deleting my shares but I want them to have access to them and also I want the program I developed to be able to utilize the MDB as the backend. Thank you.

    Re:Samba Config

So basically you just want to provide read access to the partitions, correct?

If that is the case just use: writeable = no

Or do you need them to have write access, but not be able to change just the directories?

and also I want the program I developed to be able to utilize the MDB as the backend
??? MDB? Going to need more information about this.
