rh 6.2 box on nt network

well..... if you had been in irc you would have heard me bragging about getting it finished ;D ;D ;D ;D

so now it connects to the network with ifup eth0 and i can access the web pages on the local servers.
now i need to get the internet going thru the gateway.
i used 'route default gw <ip>' but it didn't work.
any ideas/hints?

I have not yet achieved the status of "independently wealthy", so I have to work for a living. I can't hang around 24 hours a day.

Did you configure the DNS server addresses in /etc/resolv.conf?
