    Re:Serial Port

This will display info on all of your serial ports. Each of these displays a different format.

    setserial -a /dev/ttyS*

    setserial -b /dev/ttyS*

    setserial -g /dev/ttyS*

You can look at the manpage for setserial if you want to see what else it can do.

This might help you too. Everything you ever wanted to know about serial ports.

the linux documentation project is the main site with all the HOW-TOs archived at it for help on almost any topic thought about.
Its a good place to start if you want to do some background research on the topic before asking questions

Hmm, JimH thinks he recalls seeing the link alastair posted somewhere before. Must have been here.

I got my Palm Pilot syncing now in Linux! Thanks guys! Does anyone know if Avant Go will work...I downloaded an install for Unix, I guess I will give it a shot.

Now, I want to get my serial game pad to work, any ideas?

    Re:Serial Port

In regards to what JimH wrote about set serial, when I type that in I get Invalid Flag!
