Ok, I have had Suse installed for 10 days now and I still fail at installing programs 90% of the time.

The latest attempt was with pilot-link. I get past ./configure but when it comes to make, I get error messages.

I have a palm pilot on a serial connection I would really like to get working,. I tried jpilot but it wont sync. How do I configure this?

Any help with configuring my serial palm and/or help with installing would be most appreciated. THANKS

Hmmm, seems like Suse would support the Palm Pilot without having to compile programs yourself.

Have you seen this Linux Howto?

Haha, that is funny. Makes me feel a bit better, but still, it is frustrating.

yeah, it is......
the fix for me is to usualy look at what program it needs and hit google, freshmeat or rpmfind.net
usually i can get the next file i need, or i post here and get an answer from JimH or Spot... :P :P
