hey spot jim couldnt help very much maybe you can.. im running xp .. on an 80 g hardrive partitioned into 4 sections. whenever i try to install mandrake 8.2 i get a kernel error every time immediatly after i hit enter to start the install.can you explain why..

We can't help without knowing what the hardware is you are trying to install on. I asked this question under your other thread.
