I have been using Linux, Suse 8.0 for only 2 days, so please forgive my ignorance. I downloaded and figured out how to install Netscape 6.2. It opened up and ran fine. Once I closed it up, I was unable to find where or how to start it up again. I have used Windows for years, and I guess I take this stuff for granted. So, if anyone could tell me how I find the "shortcut" I would appreciate it. Thanks.
tehehe.....
now thats not something you come across very often..
it will prolly be installed in /usr/local/netscape6.2/netscape
so, open up a terminal and type that in (you can use the [tab] key as a directoyr completer, so you just have to type /us[tab]loca[tab]netsc[tab] etc and it will complete the paths for you.
To create a "shortcut" it depends on what window manager you use.
For KDE, just right click on the desktop and go new>launcher. enter the path (you can use browse) and choose an icon. Look in /usr/local/share/icons, or /usr/share/icons (i think)for one that looks good
