    Successful Install

Got Redhat 7.3 on the system.
No problems, took a while though.
I went for the update option (the whole monty) and it was over 2 gig!
Anyway, playing with it at the mo and it feels ggooooooooddd.
    Even the fonts rock!!
Found out about the "Halloween Version" in the progress

    Anyway, so far so good.

P.S. Hope my quote doesn't offend anyone

I've seen quite a few comments on the mailing lists about the time it takes to upgrade to 7.3. But think about what it has to do to upgrade. It has to look at what you have installed, decide what new packages and dependancies need to be installed, uninstall the old packages and then install the new ones.

I also noticed that the size and number of packages installed with 7.3 has increased quite a bit over 7.2 if you don't go through and individually select what packages you want to install.

The thing that I can't understand is people keep asking for more programs and features, then complain about Linux installs becoming "bloated". :P
