My Lexmark Optra E312 works like a charm with pdq.
It's a laser though, I'm really happy I chose a laser printer. It hasn't given me any trouble yet.
Printers and Scanners are the bane of my (linux) existence... :
Anyway, I have a Canon BJC-250. I went to linuxprinting.org and I tried what they said, but I just could not get this thing printing.
I know that it is compatible with linux because when I was first running Mandrake back in the day, I was able to print some CUPS test pages.
Does anybody have experience with setting up this printer? Or better yet, does anybody have experience with setting up any printer, and if so, what printer was it?
Thanks![]()
