    Who has a printer working?

Printers and Scanners are the bane of my (linux) existence... :

Anyway, I have a Canon BJC-250. I went to linuxprinting.org and I tried what they said, but I just could not get this thing printing.

I know that it is compatible with linux because when I was first running Mandrake back in the day, I was able to print some CUPS test pages.

Does anybody have experience with setting up this printer? Or better yet, does anybody have experience with setting up any printer, and if so, what printer was it?

    Thanks

My Lexmark Optra E312 works like a charm with pdq.

It's a laser though, I'm really happy I chose a laser printer. It hasn't given me any trouble yet.

Have a HP 932C either USB and or Parallel but all RH7.2 prints is a little on top then feeds the paper and then a little more on top and feeds the paper. Reams and Reams to print a simple test page.

I have a Cannon BJC-4400 which works fine with apsfilter. It uses the same driver as the BJC-600.

I had a BJC 250 and it worked well with the BJC 600 driver, too.

I have a Lexmark Z51 working via CUPS on MDK (on my fathers Linux box).
And I have my HP DeskJet 694C setup up on my network printserver (some hardware gizmo I couldn't resist buying once upon a time) and that one works fine using CUPS and LPR.
