I really don't know much about the SLI configs. If it doesn't need some sort of special drivers I can see it working alright. Otherwise, we may be up a creek...

i wouldnt be suprised if it was all in the mobo and graphic driver, until there is a new linux driver for nforce, and the graphics card i think were up a creek for now it should work in single mode just wait it out

Then again, now that I think about it nVidia has always been really good at releasing drivers for Linux that support the newest and greatest tricks and toys.

That is one reason I went with an nVidia card over an ATI. Every thing I read told me that the ATI 9800 Pro was a little better than the nVidia 6600GT, but ATI's Linux support suxs.

Yeah, but if you are a Linux gamer, then Nvidia cards perform better because of Linux's favourite 3D API, OpenGL. A 6600gt would beat the living shit out of and 9800pro with OpenGL games, hands down. That's a rule of thumb, if the game you want to run allows you to use OpenGL, then always go for Nvidia. Don't believe me, try it yourself with DOOM 3, ati cards are literally dozens of frames behind.
