    Looking for Command

    What is the Linux equivalent of:

    ipconfig
    ipconfig /all
    ipconfig /release
    ipconfig /renew

    You get the picture.....

    ifconfig will display the information just as ipconfig/all does.

    ifconfig --help will give you the info on the command.

    Hmmm, I seem to have missed this thread.

    You can use dhcpcd or pump, depending on what you are using also to renew/release dhcp ip addresses. Might also look at the manpages for them.
