    How can I get a list of my configuration?

    Is there a program or file that shows what hardware I have installed? ie, mouse, monitor,keyboard,sound board... something like Windows systems tools.

    You can goto your control panel in your x windows server and get a list just like the Windows system settings..

    Aragorn is right go to KDE control center then system then KDE system control and you will get device manager.Click on information for more info on your system also.
