Yay for Emacs!!!
I have yet to try Emacs, I have heard it has millions of functions, and that some are surprised it doesn't control your entire household. What is the story behind that???

Yep, I agree ;D I have been using emacs since day one I installed Linux and I still don't know that much about it. Never took the time to learn everything it can do or how to customize it. It was nice of Trond ot take the time to build these rpm's, that way the rest of us don't have too. ;DYay for Emacs!!!

I've been using it since the start as well. I know VI enough to save and quit, but I haven't really bothered. Vi is on my BSD box, but I haven't had much need to use it yet. Emacs is just so much smoother and has way easier commands to use. The CTRL keys are soo useful!
Have you guys tried Pico at all? I used it for a little bit because I heard good things. Its a less powerful editor then Emacs, but I still prefer it to Vi thats for sure.
