Next Slack due when?

Anyone know when Slackware is going to be updated?You Slack people got some info?

Hey john.

Slackware doesn't really work that way in the sense of telling anyone when it is going to be released. Pat and the others just sort of test everything until it works and when they are satisfied they release it. From what I've seen (Haven't been using it for too long) there is never a planned "release date" per say. I've read that some people say it will be before Christmas, although they neglect to say which Christmas .

Slack 8 is still a fairly "new" distro, so I personally don't expect anything too soons.
