ack....atleast it is better than any other windows programs.....why is it that windows gets worse in progression

win 3.1 - Not much but I never saw a blue screen
win 95 - A little more stuff...blue screen every now and then
win 98 - More Stuff....blue screen rather frequently
win ME - Even More stuff....pretty much a constant blue
screen

win2000 and XP are quite an improvement though. they actually dont suck.

Windows 2K really isn't too bad.Hate to admit it but I still have it installed cuz I like Partition Magic,Boot Magic and do not want Lilo in MBR.Also have alot of $$$ invested in windblows software that I still use.Use Linux most of the time however.ME,well it is a POS period!

As much as I hate to admit that 2k is about the most stable and "nice"(use loosely for Microsoft) windows version I have seen. ME, yes that totally blows chunks! I have that dual booted right now with Linux, I know I know, but Dell only supplies win modems and I don't have the dough for a hardware modem... :'(
