It Works: Really Super Tiny Chips

Tiny computers just keep getting closer and closer. ;D

Three Bell Labs scientists have discovered a way to develop minuscule computer transistor chips that are roughly a million times smaller than a grain of sand.

In computer technology, smaller rarely means cheaper or faster, but the scientists believe their new manufacturing method will result in transistors that will be both less expensive to produce and more powerful than current chips.
