Secretaries use Linux, taxpayers save millions

    Hi,

Check out this article! Who says Linux isn't productive on the desktop. Nice to see that others are finally discovering what some of us already know. ;D

I love it.....now if other cities would wake up and smell the savings(sorry bad pun). With 800 people, I bet you atleast a few of those went home and decided, hmmm, I'll try Linux at home since I know how to use it. That is how Linux will take over the desktop, thanks for the article, VERY NICE! ;D

We should all e-mail the link to our local government representatives ;D, asking them why they aren't trying to save our taxpayer money by using Linux. The ones coming up for re-election might really take notice.

I think that is a good idea...although the officials in this state are about as pathetic as the dog crap on my shoe!

Actually, some pretty good news regarding that. I am currently in talks with John Balzar from the LA Times to have him feature Linux. He has emailed me some questions that I am actually going to let you guys answer. I will post the questions tomorrow as I am not at home right now. So, hopefully we'll have an article with our name out there soon!
