    Visual Python

Looks like Microsoft has decided to have Python work with Visual Studio.Net. ActiveState has released a Python plug in for Visual Studio.Net.

Is Activestate a Microsoft subsidiary or is this just a third party who has created a Python plug-in for Visual Studio.net?

    Ho Jim,

Yes, activestate is a completely seperate company from MS. They have developed many a plugin for other compilers though, I believe that is how they got started actually.
