It can be a scary scenario. With a little luck and some appropriate pushes the whole issue can be eliminated.......like review IP Patents/Copyrights of all kinds!!!! I was always taught you couldn't patent an idea -- that it had to be tangible......oh well........so much for "learnin'".......

I think we've already seen some of this with SCO and MS buying unix patents and copyrights.

Whats to stop them from buying more??

Nothing! There are no laws. They have no morals. And we have no government to protect us!

Thats why OpenSource is so important! Our job is to keep it OPEN.
