My laptop with Mandrake 8.1 using Blackbox, with a scheme called Cyclosis that I grabbed off themes.org.
Blackbox runs really well on the 233/64 meg laptop...KDE and Gnome are nothing but pigs on it =/
I've recenty lodaed up Fluxbox using the same scheme, but I haven't had much of a chance to mess with the configuration of it.

Hey SkyNet, what term are you running? I want a transparent one!! eterm wouldn't install, and neither rxtv seems to much hassle. wterm also gave me problems. If you're running one of the ones I'm screwing up on, you're in charge of helping me get it work

I'm using Eterm-0.8.10, it's a term that comes with Slackware 8.0. You can get it off the CD as a .tgz package. In order to get the Transparent background I had to set my background using Esetroot. The command for me looks something like this:

    Esetroot /usr/local/share/fluxbox/backgrounds/Ryoko.jpg

This will allow your windows such as X-Chat and Eterm to use a transparent background.

lol, I just read your whole first post skynet, and saw that you mentioned you were running eterm... I need to pay more attention.

I ended up downloading aterm, I can't remember why. It worked fine though, only needs a -tr flag too Hurrah.

Sorry for the stupid question ;D
