    Ghostscript

Running Red Hat 7.1, Star Office 5.1, with an HP Laserjet 5L printer. How can I get printer output to be piped through Ghostscript before it reaches the printer? I have not found any GS options within the Star Office package.

    Re: Ghostscript

    Hi,

You might try posting this question to Sun's free support forums. http://supportforum.sun.com/staroffice/.
I did a search on the Starwriter forum and the misc forum, but drew a blank. Might try looking in the /usr/share/doc/ghostscript-5.50 directory at the documentation for ghostscript see if it gives you any ideas.

I posted your question the seawolf mailing list. Will see if anyone there knows the answer.

    Re: Ghostscript

Only one response from the list so far, but I assume you already setup your printer.

"Use of ghostsrcipt is part of the printing system> Configure a printer using printconf-gui, and that should take care of it."

    Hi Jim H,

There is a helpful response at for an HP LaserJet II which fits the bill:

    http://supportforum.sun.com/

Under 'Linux Install', Linux RH 7.1/Staroffice/HP printer

    Thanks for the pointer!
