Spot's goofy inquiry o' the week

OK, so here I am...got me install all nice & customized on the laptop,
(blackbox rocks btw) but for one thing...
I'm using the text lilo, complete with a custom /boot/lilo-text/message, is there any way to change colors of the lilo message to something other than white? I've played around a bit with the lilo schemes according to 'man lilo.conf', but it doesn't seem to have any effect on the message itself.

I know there is a way to set up an entire graphical interface with Lilo, but how to do it would be a question a Googler would ask!

Revision: It would a question that a googler would ask then do a write up for GLO so Aragorn could post it in the OMP! :P
