    Soundblaster Live 5.1

    I'm going to upgrade my soundcard on puter 2 and 3.Does the soundblaster Live 5.1 or any of the new Soundblaster cards work well with Linux?

    As far as I know the emu10k1 still works with the newer sound cards as well...

    The Soundblaster Live series work fine. AFAIK there is currently no support for the the Audigy cards. I have not looked lately to see how far progress is on drivers for the Audigy cards. I know they are being worked on.

    emu10k1 has worked fine with my sounblaster live's

    Thanks for the help everyone.Yep I did'nt think the audigy cards were supported yet as that's what I really wanted to know.I use live value and platinum and want to upgrade to 5.1 or the audigy cards.Hey,thank you folks again! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
