    router

    i love how compusa ties to make me pay 120 bucks for a router for a cable modem.

    instead i got a p75 w/ 1 gig hard drive and 32 megs of ram for 20 bucks, added 2 network cards and viola. router. net cost...erm...40 bucks. plus this one can firewall, compile whatever stuff i want to put on it (perl, python, whatever), etc.
    well, once i install linux on it. but, thats for tommorrow.

    yeah I know...tell me about it....what is bad about it is that that is the most powerful part of perl, its string manipulation ability....
