2.4.13 is out. If these kernel updates come out any faster you won't be able to keep up with them. Oh well, I haven't been playing with the new releases lately anyway, choosing to stick with RedHat's kernels.

Linus must be on vacation or something and just has nothing else to do but work on and approve new kernels. I know Linux manufacturers are pushing developers and themselves to produce quicker and get newer and flashier versions out faster, but this is ridiculous. If we start putting speed over stability it just turns into a more powerful windows...augh.

Stability is probably the reason for the rapid releases. They have been working pretty hard on straightening out the VM problems with the 2.4.x series kernels. From what I have read they introduced some pretty radical
changes in 2.4.10.
