Evolution Email Deletion

Perhaps I should have known this already, but Ive just noticed that Evolution doesnt exactly DELETE email, it just hides it. Thats BS. Does anyone know how to actually remove the individual mail from the Inbox file? Im pushing a file size of 1GB.
