Any GeForce 2GTS 32 work after 2.6.15 compile?

If you are running GeForce2GTS 32mb card in Slackware10.2, Did you compile Riva Driver and Nvidia frame buffer in kernel 2.6.15 ? Or did you have to build with Vesa support and then configure for this video card? I have read about so many issues I chickened out. Thanks

I have a Different NVidia card, but the config should be the same.
I can post my configuration when I get home.

I did not compiled either, either as modules or embeded on the kernel.

hello,
i am running 2.6.15 with latest nvidia drivers and having no problems - i do turn off the frame buffer though - i think the nvidia driver supports some functionality of this because it does pop up some nice graphics w/o starting X

remember that if you upgrade your kernel, you will need to reinstall your drivers. Other than that, VESA is the usual that the kernel is set to, and works just fine with nVIDIA cards.
