KDE and GNOME
Hello,
I always work in FC4 with KDE.
Because of Zapping TV needs Gnome, I had tried to install Gnome.
But I can't run Zapping, every time I try to start it, the system becomes logged out.
I have uninstalled Zapping TV and now I like to work only with KDE.
I have made KDE again as default Panel, but I can't remove the Gnome Panel.
[gastonv@pandora1 ~]$ cat /etc/sysconfig/desktop
DESKTOP="KDE"
But by starting up a Session, the 2 panels, KDE and Gnome, become installed, and I receive an Error-Message, something like this, translated aus german:
"There is found an already running Panel - This Panel becomes now ended"
I click on OK or close Message, but the 2 Panel-Lines stay on the screen.
Please can anyone help me to remove that Gnome Panel?
Many thanks in advance,
Gaston Verhulst.

Re:KDE and GNOME
Hello,
In Google with "FC4 remove Google", I read that it can be done with:
# yum remove gnome-panel
So I have done it and after restart I only have my KDE-Panel.
Greetings,
Gaston Verhulst.
