Encarta type Encyclopedia for linux

I am planing a MS Encarta like appt for linux if anyone is interasted here is what i have compleated so far.

Resources
OpenSource movies and public domain media.

And the basic qt appt framework.

If anyone knows of any other good opensource or public domain media sources let me know or if you are interasted in helping.

I will start the frame work for this idea but as far as any animation or anything that i would have used flash for i will wait untill inkscape implaments animation options or untill an easy solution to svg animation is presinted.

and as for the flash thing i have one word: "UGH!"

I planned on starting the basic app gui and some code i wasn't planing on useing flash i meant SVG (Duhhh)
First off i don't know how to use SDL SVG i think is better it is only for some basic animations like a spinning globe and Svg animation is on inkscapes todo list.
So there for i will wait.

And just get what i can do done for now.
Hows that smarty pants if your up for it you can help.
Or are you scared it is for the linux useing kiddies.

I need to build a web site to put all this stuff on when i get the time i will post this on kde-apps and Developer Journals i got side tracked for a min playing with 3ddesktop and makeing it look like how mac osx has it setup toooo coool but i did it and it is done.
