    I just recently found out that both FC4 and Horay Ubuntu have ndiswrapper on the CD, just not automatically installed since it's more like optional stuff.

    Well, you know what ....

    I just got my piece-of-crap Netgear WL511v2 card which everyone said was a piece of junk working using ndiswrapper. I know it's not the best solution and all but ... at least I've got it working for the HW I already own. Next one, I will only buy those which natively support Linux when I do upgrade. I bought this card thinking that it's supported by Linux and it was what everyone says on the BBSes but Netgear changed chipset without changing hardware versions.
