recover from bad nis client configuration

i misconfigured(somewhere on the nsswitch.conf file) a print(CUPS on SAMBA) server as an NIS client..
the problem i could no longer log on back..

could anyone please help me how recover from this?

log on to wat? ... using ssh? log on as nis client? ... cud u please give us more details ... and if anybody out there understands wats his talkn cud u please fill me in? ... sorry po pea brain kasi

log on back to box. cant log on to the console (samot na remote login, ssh,telnet etc.)
