This is a good one that I thought I would share with everyone. I was writing up a tutorial on NFS and I got to the section about securing your NFS server. I was working remotely, doing a little tutorial writing from work. ;-) Anyway, I was messing around with some values on my machine, trying some different combinations. And, I locked myself out of my machine, now I gotta wait till I get home to reset the values.

Yeah, well, I thought it was funny.

Shit you think thats bad, I was working remotely on one of our servers (locatated across town) I was changing some IP configurations and needed to bring the network interfaces down on the box, so I did.............................. needless to say I was driving across town not much longer after that.

Heh, oops, I guess even the best of us need those little reminders that we aren't actually in front of all the computers we are controlling. THey make for good stories tho.
