have you tried /dev/sda1?, what does sg_map tell you? Or are you running udev ?
Hey guys,
I bought a camera and it worked perfect with linux. Now its not working same saoftware version. I was told that I should mount it as a storage drive. I set the camera that way. Dmesg showed sda so I mounted /dev/sda but it just freezes up.

I finally got it to work. All I had to do is reboot it. As soon as I connected it. Ubuntu said I had pictures on media. And it asked me if I want it to mount it. Finally I got my pics on my box. I have 500 mb of trip through Europe. Is there something that makes thumbprints so its easy to share these pics. Most of them are like 3mb. Thats a bit much to post on here or host somewhere.
Not sure whether it thumbnails, but have you tried F-Spot? Sounds about perfect for something like a trip to europe.
