    Fan Problems with Sony PCV-RX550

I just got Ubuntu installed on my vaio PCV-RX550 and i have some problems/issues with the fan. In the old days of Windows, the fan has quiet (sony has a fan driver on their website for windows). Now that i have Linux on it, its loud, and its spinning all the time.
Any sugestions on how to fix the fan speed, beside playn' with voltage?
