    fc - rhel

    is there a correlation between fc numbers and rhel version numbers...here is the example - I want to install Websense web filtering on FC3 box - Websense guys say they support RH9 and RHEL 3 - so, which version of FC is comarable to RH9 and RHEL3?

    No, actually FC3 is closest to RHEL4. RHEL3 is about Red Hat 9. Remember that there is an 18mo cycle between releases -- even point releases.

    Now many major patches have been backported to various RHEL's, so...
