    Kubuntu/Ubuntu Timezone Clock Problems

If you have problems with Kubuntu/Ubuntu not keeping the proper timezone (e.g., your clock is off by a few hours after you reboot), especially on machines running Windows, try

    sudo base-config

and set your hardware clock to local time, not GMT.

    Re:Kubuntu/Ubuntu Timezone Clock Problems

Think I'll wait for the next release of Kubuntu. Too many things broken in KDE and the timezone thing is really frustrating. Haven't got enough time to keep screwing with it.
