A friend of mine just dropped off his XPHome to fix. His desktop wallpaper is replaced with adsware offering protection from adsware : . I quickly checked his setting with Display area and it's set to display what he wanted but when booted into it, it displayed the ads. Any help on how to remove them? Any free (or minimal cost) spyware remover you guys know of?
