    fsck --rebuild-tree

    Hi guys,

fsck at boot up tells me that my /home partition (reiserfs) has errors that could only be fixed with the --rebuild-tree option.
I was wondering whether that actually erases files or not, because if I need to back everything up, I might as well reformat the drive entirely.

    Thank you
    Dswissmiss

I lost some files when I did it.
