I had my dualbooted computer - windows xp just died and I need to access some files on ntfs partition. When it was SUSE9.1 Pro - I just installed wine and after that I was able to mount -t ntfs /dev/hda1 /win.
I installed FC3 and wine and still receive 'ntfs is not supported by kerenel' message....I wonder why this happens...no logical reason for that......
By default Fedora doesn't compile in NTFS for their kernels but I think you could add it as a module... Unfortunately I don't know how to do that in Fedora, now if it were gentoo I would be all over it... (just installed Gentoo for the 3rd time in 2 weeks on my PC at home).
