    ImageMagick had never disappoint me. Sometime I use gv as well but I like ImageMagick's extensive configuration and screenshot-with-a-key-stoke feature is something I can't live without.

    I agree. Imagemagick is a very good view but it is also a powerful image editor as well. Plus the CLI batch processing capabilities are unbeatable.

    Hey,
    I use `xv` from the CLI. If you're using Debian, then I think there's another one called qiv.

    Depends on what you're looking for. If you just want a viewer, I like Eye of Gnome. If you want a photo library organizer, check out F-Spot. You need mono installed to run it, but it's a full out image categorizer and library manager. Really neat stuff. Great app.

    As to teh ImageMagik ...does it have a gui fron-end/ (I don;t seem to be able to launch it)
    rpm -ql gives me the location of the files but I still can't find how can I load it....
