single user login. no login at startup

I just installed Ubuntu and was wanting to bypass the login screen.
Anyone know how to do this? I don't want to have a password to login. I want it to load right to the desktop, like the live cd does.

Run the following command:

sudo gdmsetup

Under "General" enable the "Login user automatically on first bootup" option, then under the drop down box choose which user you'd like to be logged in at bootup.

Close the application, and reboot if you'd like to test the setup.

"Ctrl+Alt+BackSpace" would do the same without rebooting.

Yeah, I have the same setup. It's all good. 8)
