    CD Burning Issues

    All,

I've downloaded Ubuntu for the PPC. I wanted to burn it to disc so that I could install it on my iBook. Now I am having problems burning discs for PPC via an x86 (the iBook doesn't have a burner). I am running WinXP (wife didn't want me to put Linux on the PC).

What format does the disc need to be in? I have seen some sites that say standard ISO 9660 format. Some say a hybrid format needs to be used. Some say something else. This is really starting to piss me off. All I want to do is burn the disc and load it on my laptop.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Cheers

Using nero or whatnot, burn it as an iso image. There isnt any iso of linxu that I have seen that isnt that format. That is including the x86 Ubuntu.
