the day microsoft makes a product that doesn't suck is the day they make a vacuum cleaner
[rant]I know, I know...it's an M$ product, so it sucks. But...I really hate the lack of tabbed browsing and the fact that a resized picture can't simply be clicked on to make it bigger. Firefox rocks especially since it can do both of those things. Long live the Firefox project![/rant]
Cheers

IE is a piece of trash. It was allright when it's technology was fresh (like in it's first inception) but it hasn't gotten any better since.
Lack of competition is the reason to blame.
NOw with Firefox in the playing field, that might change soon.
Microsoft must be dead scared of Firefox, within months they lost upwards of 10% of the market to something that they can't compete with on price, nor on features - their only leverage is that IE is bundled tighty with Windows giving little insentive to switch but with the security record IE has gotten that's changing to.
What I really hate about IE is the fact that it does not handle CSS correctly. And it seems that IE 6 is worse than IE 5 is this respect. You would think they could get this right!
I heard rumours that MS is putting renewed resources into the development of IE. It would seem the browser wars are back![]()
