What would this shocks accomplish? Make the symptoms recede?
Whereas I have been relatively none responsive or have had massive sideeffects on most of my meds thus far, a new treatment is coming into the picture.
Basically it's the same thing they use for Parkinson, electrode probes in the left and right side of the brain.
Now I'm far from the point where that's needed, but I have shown a tendency to get worse over the years, so I'm happy science now provides a way out, dangerous as it might be, should it ever be needed - and best of all, my local hospital just down the block are experts in this procedure.
Ain't science great?

It differs from patient to patient, from reduction of symptions to complete recovery. So far all I've heard has been hugely positive.

Sounds painful, though..
I won't personally benefit from this as my main problem isn't the ticks, but if the condition worsens it would be an option, the main thing was that the new research might make way for new meds and external brain simiulation devices..
Oh and the brain has no pain centers, once they are past the scull it's perfectly fine, you are awake during the whole thing, you can't feel a thing, mighty odd.

Then why do we get headaches?
Pressure in skull/sinuses?
As far as I know, the brain doesn't have ANY sensors.

why would anyone want to be awake ??? sounds interesting though, what condition do you have lc ???
Correct me if I'm wrong, but you have to be awake during brain surgery so they make sure they don't damage any tissue and so they can isolate what parts of your brain do what.
