Re:Run Firefox/Thunderbird from USB
I saw my local shop selling 128 MB flash drives for 20 bucks. Cool to try but no need for me. I've got enough disk space plus I can access anytime to my server as long as there is connection to Internet. If there is no Net connection, why do I need Firefox for that box? Plus I can always burn on CD and install there. But I know it would be nice to use it in school envoronment where installing software is not allowed.
Good find.

Thanks. Yeah - that's where it's most helpful (where you cannot install it at school). But my school is actively enforcing use of Firefox.
We have Firefox 1.0 installed on /all/ the comps - I believe.

We have Firefox installed on all comps, but 1.0 is only installed on the recently imaged ones.

Yeah, we are indeed lucky thanks to gorn and his class' tech team, as they were the ones who really got the school to use GNU/Linux and other OSS.

It goes like this:
gorn (linux) -> chessforce
chessforce(linux) -> me.
