My Server Specs: AMD Athlon X2 3800+, 2gb DDR2 RAM, 1.5TB HDD, Ubuntu 9.10
My Gaming PC: Intel Core 2 Duo 2.93ghz, 4gb DDR2 RAM, 9800GTX+
Cruising around in a vehicle looking for open wireless "HotSpots"
But of course, cough, never exploiting them, cough
Is that actually legal? I feel sorry for the people that obviously don't know about a security and then they cop this. I know if I found a hotspot, I would be downloading like crazy!

From what I've found out... Some hotspots are just open to the world (or the range within their antena anyway); and some are firewalled. Even the free one I used at a hotel was firewalled because they wanted to know who I was first (and to safeguard their server from any kiddie-porn or free music I would engage in downloading  ). After the free registration, I was able to surf away.Originally Posted by beezlebubsbum";p="4071
