    New Knoppix 3.7 Game edition

Comming to you from the Live CD.
During the boot sequence it said that I had a nVidia card, would I like hardware acceleration?
    Yep, I sure would.

Everything loaded up just fine. Ethernet card was good to go.
Lots of games and demos. Sound works.

This is the way to get em to try Linux. Those games are sooooo nice. With my poor 128 meg vid card they run sweet.

When my son returns from his labors you will receive a 'gamers' take on this release!

Argghh, I posted this before but I guess it didn't go through.

I can't remember exactly, but it was something along the lines of:

I like the distro in general with 2 points:

    1. Some of my friends got annoyed by the snowing desktop with the little santa driving around in it. Personally, I think it's cool (and yes, I can turn it off, but they didn't know how).

    2. As it boots, it defaults to the german keymap, so when you want to press "Y" to enable hardware accleration, you actually need to press "Z".

Other than that... it's great. I was impressed with the graphics hardware detection.

    Pugio, Huh?

This is 3.7 Gamer edition, its got balls but not snow-balls and mine is EN English cause there were two options and I don't know fig about German.

The gamer-lad in this house loves it! Took all 10 I had burned to work for the other gamers.

Weird. I downloaded the game edition and the desktop was snowing. I could control the direction and speed by moving my mouse around.
