Hi Cloverm,
I found a Windows tool called dmg2iso. With it, I was able to change it to an iso image, though it was around 13 megs in size. I compressed it with winrar, and is now 3.3 mb. I can email it to you if you want.
I need to extract some files from a MAC .dmg file:
http://global.solutions.brother.com/...xhlmcups3b.dmg
Can someone extract the files out from this file on a MAC and convert them to a Linux-readable format and somehow get it to me? I found this clue if it helps:
I'm trying to get the CUPS ppd driver for the MF4800.Code:hdiutil convert /path/to/filename.dmg -format UDTO -o /path/to/savefile.iso
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

BTW, there is a perl script for doing the same here:

Could you? cloverm(AT)linuxjunior.org
Got the file, thank you trickster. Got it unrar-ed, tried to mount it, errors. Tried to open it with k3b, errors. Tried that perl script, same errors. Perhaps we do need someone with a MAC.

This worked!I got the files that I needed. It is strange that Brother releases these ppd files for Cups for MAC OS-X, but not for *nix.
Anyway, thank you for the help, guys. Both will get a good karma point ...
