    Apache CGI

    I have a uptime.pl script in my /cgi-bin/:

    Code:
    #!/usr/bin/perl -w
    print `uptime`;
    and it tells me I have a 500 Internal Service Error.
    I chmod'ed it to 755. however, I cannot make it display my uptime. :-/

    Anyone have any suggestions ?

    Thanks!

    Re:Apache CGI

    Try:
    Code:
    #!/usr/bin/perl -w
    print "Content-type: text/html\n\n";
    print `uptime`;
    exit;

    Try:
    Code:
    #!/usr/bin/perl -w
    print "Content-type: text/html\n\n";
    print `uptime`;
    exit;
    [/quote]

    Thanks, but I figured that my script's permission weren't indeed 755 and that changed it.

    Thanks for the reply though!
