Mac G3/300
Is this worth buying used for a couple hundred bucks?
Beige MT G3/300
128 MB of RAM, 8 GB internal drive, internal CD-ROM, modem: none, includes keyboard and mouse, internal 100 MB Zip. I don't think any OS is on it. I can upgrade some of the componants.
Someone said its similar to a i386 machine with around 600mhz or so.
Thnx.

Hello,
I probably would not buy it, if the machine is going to perform par with 600 MHz x86 boxes, since I have seen better deals. Check out Prefix Technologies for some good deals on old computers.

Do you think it's worth buying from ebay? I used to buy from it in late 90s, or when it first started but I haven't dealt with it since.

definitely man, i bought a 500mhz ibook from ebay for $230...missing a few parts, but the total for the laptop and the parts was still way below the minimum retail price i could find of $500
